Export Control

It is the Policy of the University of Arizona that all employees, students, and other individuals working at University conduct their affairs in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations, and consistent with the highest standards for research integrity and ethics.

The University is committed  to complying with U.S. export controls laws and regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations. All individuals working at the University of Arizona who work with, or have access to, export-controlled technical data, software, materials, and equipment are required to be familiar with and adhere to the U.S. export control laws and regulations.

The University also recognizes that a critical component of its mission is supporting fundamental research as well as developing relationships and participating in the worldwide academic and business community to further the pursuit of knowledge.
