The Department of Defense advises researchers and institutions to use caution when engaging with institutions on its Section 1286 list.
"Protecting and maintaining America's science and technology ecosystem is paramount to national security," said Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Heidi Shyu. "This publication is critical to ensuring the responsible use and safeguarding of fundamental and applied research in addition to the future development of advanced technology."
