We have different levels of sponsorship available, as well as guidelines. Please review the information below. Sponsorship gifts for the National PFAS Conference (the Conference) will be evaluated to ensure alignment with the PFAS conference mission and values. The PFAS Conference reserves the right to refuse any contribution. 

The following guidelines will be used to evaluate prospective gifts: 

  1. Gifts must be consistent with the mission, goals, objectives and services of the Conference including clean production, healthy communities, environmental justice, and a sustainable future.

  2. The Conference may take into consideration a corporation’s green outreach efforts, human rights record, environmental, trade and labor practices, and other responsible initiatives during the review process.   

Prospective gifts from the following industries will be closely scrutinized and require committee approval: 

  1. Manufacturing of products that may contain PFAS

  2. Production and manufacture of PFAS chemicals

  3. Management of PFAS waste

  4. Other industries as necessary

The PFAS Conference will not accept a sponsorship from any corporation that is: 

  1. Engaged in any significant activities that are in direct conflict with the PFAS Conference’s objectives or activities to protect the environment, scientific integrity, and human health.

  2. Currently involved in litigation against any members of the organizing committee of the PFAS Conference. 

The use of the PFAS Conference’s logo by a corporate partner is restricted to appropriate uses only and subject to approval by the conference organizing committee. 

 

The Conference will not assume any indebtedness in connection with a gift, other than what is specified in the sponsorship levels document.
