Join us for the National 2026 PFAS Conference in the hidden gem in the desert. This conference series is uniquely designed to exchange information, provide support to PFAS-affected communities, and facilitate engagement across diverse sectors involved with PFAS to accelerate the protection of health and the environment.

2026 National PFAS Conference: Pre-Conference Activities

Pre-Conference Full Day Tour of Santa Cruz County Sites

This will be a full-day tour on Sunday, June 7, 2026, leaving the University at 9:00 am and returning at 4:00 pm. This tour will feature the Nogales Wash, the International Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the Santa Cruz River.

Lunch will be included. Please bring a bottle of water and a sun hat. There will be occasional time outside walking and viewing different sites.

Registration fee is $50 in addition to general conference registration.

Pre-Conference Half Day Tour Around Tucson

This will be a half-day tour on Sunday, June 7, 2026, leaving the University at 1:00 pm and returning at 4:00 pm. This tour will feature the University's Water & Energy Sustainable Technology (WEST) Center, Tucson International Airport Area Superfund Site located on the southside of Tucson, and the remediation plant by Davis Monthan Air Force Base.

Please bring a bottle of water and a sun hat. There will be occasional time outside walking and viewing different sites.

Registration fee is $25 in addition to general conference registration.
