John McCue

John McCue is the retired vice chairman and former U.S. energy and resources industry leader of Deloitte LLP. During McCue’s 31-year career with Deloitte Consulting, he specialized in strategic planning and operations improvement consulting for many of the largest energy companies in the U.S. and globally, with a particular focus on mergers, acquisitions and profitable growth. In addition, McCue led the U.S. power and utilities industry practices for both Deloitte and Deloitte Consulting, and was the managing director of the Cleveland, Ohio, Deloitte Consulting practice.

Prior to Deloitte, McCue spent four years as a petroleum engineer with Amoco Production. He has served as a strategic advisor to multiple research universities and has been a frequent speaker and author on emerging strategic topics affecting the global energy industry. McCue received both a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
