An annual cash award to support the Latin teaching pursuits of a graduate student in the Department of Classics (by faculty nomination).

An annual cash award for the best M.A. thesis in the Department of Classics (by faculty nomination).

Awards up to $3,500 to support research into the art and career of Todd Walker.

The Cynthia White Travel and Study in Italy Award will be given each year to a student pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in the Department of Classics at the University of Arizona. The Confluencenter's Director's Fund for Excellence awards are intended to provide critical support for short-term collaborative projects, especially those that reflect an interdisciplinary orientation or a commitment to public outreach.

Awards up to $2,500 to an individual engaged in researching and writing about photographic theory relating to the imagery and its impact on individuals and societies; and/or our relationship to images and the reasons that drive their creation.
