The Strategic Research Advisory Council at the University of Arizona serves as a high-level advisory body that helps guide the university’s research priorities and long-term strategy. Composed of faculty leaders, administrators and subject-matter experts, the council evaluates emerging opportunities, identifies institutional strengths and provides recommendations to strengthen U of A’s research portfolio. Its role includes fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, advising on major initiatives and ensuring that the university’s research enterprise remains competitive, innovative and aligned with state, national and global needs.
