Controlling Story Placement and Order in News Views
We use two promotion options — Sticky at Top and Promoted to Front Page — to manage story placement across views and the order in which they appear.

| The difference between the two tagsUANews TagsThis vocabulary is automatically populated by the tags we selected for our News feed. You can see which tags we selected here, and the full list of UANews tags [coming soon]. Changes to the way this vocabulary is applied must happen on the UANews side, as any changes we make will be overridden daily when the feed importer runs. TagsThis is our own vocabulary that is not exclusive to news content, but is applied to other types of content on the website such as FAQ. Tags can be added to this vocabulary “on the fly,” from the content editing UI. If you type a term that is not included in the vocabulary, you'll be offered the option of adding it right away. If you think a term will apply to numerous stories, and you imagine end-users might want to view stories related by this term, feel free to add it as a tag. This vocabulary is occasionally referred to "ORP Tag" in documentation in order to distinguish it from UANews Tags. |
