The purpose of our program is to provide start-up monies for new research projects in the field of neuroscience that will likely lead to extramural funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) or other outside funding sources.

The objective of the BRF Seed Grant Program is to support new and innovative projects, especially those of junior faculty, who are working in new research directions. BRF Seed Grant awards are not intended to supplement existing grants.

To be eligible, the PI must be working in the area of studies of brain function. This includes molecular and clinical neuroscience as well as studies of neural, sensory, motor, cognitive, behavioral and emotional functioning in health and disease.

This program solicitation expands upon the nationwide network established by the first 18 AI Research Institutes to pursue transformational advances in a range of economic sectors, and science and engineering fields. Recordings at Risk is a national regranting program administered by CLIR to support the preservation of rare and unique audio, audiovisual, and other time-based media of high scholarly value through digital reformatting. Awards range from $10,000 to $50,000 and cover costs of preservation reformatting for fragile and/or obsolete time-based media content by qualified external service providers.

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity is to investigate the acceptability, feasibility, and effectiveness of promoting infant immunization during prenatal care visits, leading parents to vaccinate their children confidently. Prenatal care providers, including obstetricians and midwives, are trusted sources of information for pregnant women, yet many feel uncomfortable providing information or discussing concerns about infant vaccination because they may consider this to be outside of their area of expertise. This represents a significant missed opportunity to provide important information to pregnant women/parents from a trusted source at a critical time when research suggests opinions about childhood vaccination are forming.

VentureWell Course & Program (C&P) Grants of up to $30,000 are awarded to US higher education institutions to support a curriculum that engages students in science and technology innovation and entrepreneurship. C&P grants may be used to strengthen existing curricular programs or to build new, pedagogically inclusive courses and programs that engage student teams in developing and pursuing scalable solutions to real-world needs through S&T I&E. Japanese American Confinement Sites grants are awarded to preserve and interpret U.S. Confinement Sites where Japanese Americans were detained during World War II. Grants are awarded to organizations and entities working to preserve historic Japanese American confinement sites and their history, including: private nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and state, local, and tribal governments, and other public entities. Grants will be awarded through a competitive process and require a 2:1 Federal to non-Federal match ($2 Federal to $1 non-Federal match). The minimum grant request is $5,000.

The Mission of Angel Charity for Children, Inc. (a 501(c)(3)) is to improve the quality of life for children in our community. This is accomplished through an established program of fundraising for the beneficiary(ies) selected annually by the General Membership. It is our hope that the community supports the mission of Angel Charity until all the needs of Pima County’s children have been met.

The Library of Congress seeks to award a grant to support the creative and wide-ranging use of Library collections and the connective powers of technology to serve Black, Indigenous, Hispanic or Latino, Asian American and Pacific Islander or other racial and ethnic minority populations within the United States in sharing stories about America’s past, present, and future.

Projects funded through this program will use items from across the Library’s digital collections, and may describe, display, and re-mix them, in keeping with copyright and other laws, in whatever ways are most valuable to their own context. For this grant, technology can be used in simple or in complex ways, and successful applicants may develop new technologies or make use of existing platforms, tools, or approaches, such as social media platforms, or multimedia productions. The important factor in a successful project is the connections it enables in communities, and the impact of the project on its creators, users, and audience.
