UA may submit 2 applications.The mission of the Breast Cancer Alliance is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment and cure. To encourage a commitment to breast cancer research, the Breast Cancer Alliance invites clinical doctors and research scientists at any stage of their careers whose primary focus is breast cancer research.The term of the Exceptional Project Grant is one year, beginning on March 1, 2022. The grant provides salary support and project costs for a total of $100,000 (distributed over the one-year period.) Indirect costs, which are included in the $100,000 award, must be limited to 8% of total direct costs.Selection is managed by the University of Arizona Cancer Center.S. Kim

2021 NIFA Equipment Grants Program

UA may submit 2 applications.The Equipment Grant Program (EGP) serves to increase access to shared-use special purpose equipment/instruments for fundamental and applied research for use in the food and agricultural sciences programs at institutions of higher education, including State Cooperative Extension Systems. The program seeks to strengthen the quality and expand the scope of fundamental and applied research at eligible institutions, by providing them with opportunities to acquire one major piece of equipment/instruments that support their research, training, and extension goals and may be too costly and/or not appropriate for support through other NIFA grant programs.Ticket #1: J.
