International Coordination Group (ICG) Meeting

Join the International Coordination Group (ICG) Meeting for a monthly opportunity to engage with your colleagues across UArizona about global engagement and international collaborations. ICG meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am. For Fall 2021, UArizona faculty, postdoc, research staff, and graduate students are welcome and encouraged to register for the monthly Zoom ICG Meeting.


The November 17, 2021 ICG Meeting will feature a panel of UArizona researchers from the College of Humanities. Panel speakers include:

Ken McAllister (Global Dimensions of the College of Humanities)

  • Dr. McAllister is the Associate Dean of Research and Program Innovation in the College of Humanities and a Professor of Public & Applied Humanities. He will briefly outline the global dimensions of COH and spotlight several key areas of interest for the ICG.

Sonia Colina (Director, National Center for Interpretation)

  • Dr. Colina directs the University's National Center for Interpretation (NCI), which specializes in projects related to the training and testing of interpreters (who deal with spoken language) and translators (who deal with written language). She will describe the international-oriented work of NCI and suggest how it could align with future ICG initiatives.

Robert Côté (Director, Center for English as a Second Language)

  • Dr.  Côté directs the University's Center for English as a Second Language and formerly directed the University's Writing Skills Improvement Program. He has extensive experience setting up educational and training programs in the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
