How do I submit my pre-proposal for a limited submission funding opportunity?

All limited submission funding internal competitions which are accepting pre-proposals will be listed on Arizona Cultivate. Log in to Arizona Cultivate using your NetID.

A list of required pre-proposal elements will be listed under the "Description" heading of each internal competition. RDS recommends reviewing required pre-proposal elements well in advance of the internal submission deadline.

For assistance using Arizona Cultivate please see the applicant resources webpage or reach out to limitedsubmissions@arizona.edu

What is the TRIF initiative?

Publicly supported through voter approval, TRIF is an essential resource for growing Arizona’s economy and providing opportunities for Arizona residents to work, learn and thrive.

What is the difference between upcoming, open, and completed limited submissions?

Funding opportunities are categorized on the limited submissions table as either "upcoming," "open" or "completed".

Upcoming: Limited submissions funding opportunities which are accepting pre-proposals through a campus-wide competition process. The deadline to submit to the internal competition will be listed alongside the Arizona Cultivate competition link. No pre-proposals will be accepted after the internal deadline. If the internal deadline has passed and an opportunity is still marked as upcoming, the internal competition is under review and the opportunity's designation will be updated once the internal selection process has concluded.

Open: Limited submissions funding opportunities where the internal deadline has passed with tickets remaining or in cases where there is insufficient time between discovery and the funder's deadline to hold an internal competition. The first expression of interest that RDS receives, based on the timestamp of the requesting email to the limitedsubmissions@arizona.edu inbox, will be accepted as the institutional submission.

Completed: Limited submissions funding opportunities where either the number of allowed institutional submissions have been exhausted or the funder's deadline has passed and thus the funder is no longer accepting proposals. Completed opportunities remain on the limited submissions table as a record of who the institutional ticket holder was.
