Summary
The Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program, established in 1984, supports projects to improve emergency care for children with trauma and other critical conditions. These projects strengthen Pediatric Readiness [1],[2],[3] in hospital Emergency Departments (EDs) and prehospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies. The EMSC National Pediatric Readiness Coordinating Center (NPRCC) supports and coordinates these efforts. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) explains how to apply for funding under the NPRCC Cooperative Agreement.

If you are awarded funding, you will:

• Coordinate with key partners to develop and update Pediatric Readiness guidelines for hospital EDs and EMS agencies.
• Centralize technical assistance and quality improvement (QI) learning collaboratives to increase adoption of Pediatric Readiness guidelines and support state Pediatric Readiness Recognition Programs.
• Increase awareness among health care providers and the public about the role of Pediatric Readiness in improving outcomes for children.
• Measure progress in Pediatric Readiness through a web-based data collection system for hospital EDs and EMS agencies.

Summary
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) provides a comprehensive system of HIV care that improves health outcomes and supports HIV viral suppression.

The purpose of the RWHAP Part C Capacity Development Program is to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations to improve health outcomes and reduce HIV transmission, especially for people not yet in regular HIV care. The focus of this Part C program is on infrastructure.

This capacity development funding offers a one-year opportunity to carry out one short-term activity in FY 2026.

Summary
This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Rural Health Research Dissemination Program. The purpose of this program is to disseminate health research, including rural mental health, rural infant mortality prevention, and rural occupational safety and preventive health research focused on rural health care to rural stakeholders at national, state, and community levels. FORHP funds health research through the Rural Health Research Center (RHRC) Program and other cooperative agreements. The successful applicant for this program will disseminate research so that it is easily and freely accessible to the public. The successful applicant will also develop and maintain strategies to disseminate this research through a website, an e-mail listserv presentations, , and webinars.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is accepting applications for the Technology-enabled Collaborative Learning Program (TCLP) (HRSA-26-053). 

The program supports the evaluation, development, and expanded use of technology- enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models, to improve retention of health care providers and increase access to health care services in rural areas, frontier areas, health professional shortage areas, or medically underserved areas and for medically underserved populations or Native Americans.[1]

Your project must:

Summary 
The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to expand the network of institutes working with CDC to help eliminate or control non- malaria parasitic threats and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). This NOFO will focus on threats and diseases that may affect Americans at home or abroad or whose elimination or control would serve other U.S. priorities.

Purpose of Award
For more than a decade, Susan G. Komen Career Catalyst Research (CCR) Grants have fostered promising breast cancer researchers who are in the early stages of their faculty careers by providing support for up to three years of “protected time” for research career development under the guidance of a Mentor Committee. We seek to support those who will emerge as the next key leaders in the fight against breast cancer.

The goal of the FY27 CCR Grant is to support early career investigators to advance these research goals. We are especially interested in hypothesis-driven studies that target breast cancer, in the development of strategies for earlier diagnosis, reduce risk of breast cancer, or increase the effectiveness of current therapies to lead to longer and better-quality outcomes for patients. Research projects must be hypothesis-driven, breast cancer-focused studies. They may be considered basic, translational, clinical and/or population science in nature and should align with Komen’s research priorities and/or mission to save lives from breast cancer.

Letters of Intent addressing topics not breast cancer focused, as described above, will be administratively withdrawn from consideration without an opportunity for appeal.

The Searle Scholars Scientific Advisory Board is primarily interested in the potential of applicants to make innovative and high-impact contributions to research over an extended period of time.

Applicants for the 2027 competition (awards which will be activated on July 1, 2027) are expected to be pursuing independent research careers in biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, immunology, neuroscience, pharmacology, and related areas in chemistry, medicine, and the biological sciences.

Applicants should have begun their appointment as an independent investigator at the assistant professor level on or after May 1, 2025. The appointment must be their first tenure-track position (or its nearest equivalent).

Institutions which do not have tenure-track appointments should consult with the Scientific Director of the Program regarding eligibility of selected applicants PRIOR to nominating such individuals.

The Searle Scholars Program does not ordinarily support purely clinical research but has supported research programs that include both clinical and basic components. Purpose
The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to solicit applications to maintain or establish Lead Academic Organizations (LAOs) as part of the NCI Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN). ETCTN LAOs will design, develop, monitor, conduct, and analyze early phase clinical trials (e.g., phase 0, phase 1, phase 2, pilot, and other experimental therapeutic clinical trials) involving agents under regulatory sponsorship for New Investigational Drug (IND) applications held by NCI's Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP). Each ETCTN LAO will participate in clinical trials it leads as well as clinical trials led by other LAOs in the network. 

The ETCTN LAOs will provide oversight for all scientific, programmatic, financial, and administrative matters related to the sites participating in ETCTN trials as part of their LAOs. ETCTN LAOs are also expected to provide mentorship for investigators who are in the early stages of their research careers with a focus on clinical trials. All ETCTN LAOs will be required to use the ETCTN Pharmacokinetic (PK) Resource Laboratory as a central resource to incorporate PK studies within their early phase clinical trials, when appropriate, to analyze pharmacokinetic endpoints, drug-drug interactions, cytochromes P450 (CYP) interactions, pharmacodynamics, and food effects associated with IND agents being evaluated in ETCTN trials. This PK Laboratory will conduct all pharmacokinetic studies for ETCTN clinical trials involving Investigational New Drug (IND) agents under the regulatory sponsorship of NCI’s Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP).  The ETCTN Pharmacokinetic Resource Laboratory  is funded through a separate award under the NOFO listed below.

Summary 

This NOFO’s aim is to improve awareness and knowledge of alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) in the United States. AGS is an emerging condition and is not nationally notifiable. This will happen through:

• The creation of a professional network of AGS researchers and public health professionals.
• Improved surveillance.
• Improved communications materials.

This NOFO seeks to improve:

• AGS surveillance.
• Patient care.
• Awareness and understanding.
   

The NOFO’s three main strategies are to:

• Share: Disseminate the latest knowledge about AGS among stakeholders to improve patient care for AGS and the public health response.
  • This includes public health agencies, academic researchers, and
    advocacy groups.
• Track: Conduct active or enhanced surveillance for AGS.
  • This strategy could involve patient populations or geographic locations with limited access to specialized healthcare provider care.
• Educate: Create AGS communications targeted at the general public, AGS patients, and/or people at higher risk for tick encounters (outdoor enthusiasts, dog owners, etc.).
  • Communications targeted at healthcare providers, healthcare provider educational resources, and training would also fall under this strategy.
