PANDA Core at the University of Arizona Steele Children’s Research Center

This core facility serves all University investigators, as well as researchers from other academic institutions and industries with an interest in microbiome analysis. It provides the research community the facility and expertise to characterize complex microbial communities and microbial interactions using state-of-the-art instrumentation and highly trained personnel who provide support ranging from experimental design to data analysis.

Biomedical Imaging Core (Phoenix)

The Biomedical Imaging Core offers leading edge multiphoton and confocal microscopy for biomedical imaging and data collection. Conveniently located on the downtown Phoenix Biomedical Campus at the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix, the core is designed to be a community-based resource available to UA affiliated and non-affiliated faculty and researchers.

CyVerse

CyVerse provides a national cyber infrastructure for life science research as well as training scientists in using such high performance computing resources. Formerly the iPlant Collaborative, CyVerse provides a platform for data storage, bioinformatics tools, image analyses, and cloud services. CyVerse also allows programmatic access through multiple APIs. The CyVerse Learning Center provides valuable information for getting started using CyVerse resources.
