This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for Diabetes Research Centers that are designed to support and enhance the national research effort in diabetes, its complications, and related endocrine and metabolic diseases. Diabetes Research Centers support two primary research-related activities: Research Core services and a Pilot and Feasibility (P and F) program.
ER2 research projects will use basic research to produce knowledge about what constitutes or promotes responsible or irresponsible conduct of research, and how to best instill this knowledge into researchers and educators at all career stages. In some cases, projects will include the development of interventions to ensure ethical and responsible research conduct.

UArizona may submit more than one application. This opportunity is Institutionally Coordinated due to a solicitation requirement that applications not overlap: Multiple applications from an organization are allowable for different designations of COE programs (e.g., Hispanic and Native Americans, or Hispanic and other).
