UArizona is invited to submit one application.
In fall 2021, Taskforce institutions will be invited to submit proposals for innovative initiatives that can help students achieve measurable outcomes focused on employment, economic stability, and fulfillment of purpose. Up to 15 proposals will be selected at up to $250,000 each. The overall grant budget for this phase is $3 million. Grant awards will be made by the end of December 2021.

This NHGRI R25 program supports the development of curricula for Master of Science (M.S.) degree programs in genomics, genomic medicine and/or genomic informatics for medical students. The curricula should be freely available, at no cost to the broader community, to enhance training of medical students to enter the genomics workforce. The programs must be self-sustaining at the end of the award period.
