This call for proposals (CFP) will provide supplemental research funding to teams that are already engaged in the study of a promising system alignment mechanism, with the objective of learning how this mechanism performs in addressing health and social needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) highlights the urgent need to understand the social, ethical, and behavioral implications (SEBI) of COVID-19 testing among underserved and/or vulnerable populations across the United States through the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics for Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative. The overarching goal is to understand factors that have led to disproportionate burden of the pandemic on these underserved populations so that interventions can be implemented to decrease these disparities.

• CLF, Dorsey Commit $15 Million for COVID-19 Relief, Mental Health

Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation, in partnership with Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey's #startsmall initiative, has announced grants totaling $15 million in support of efforts to address racial injustice and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants were awarded to nonprofits working to address mental health issues, food insecurity, income loss, and the needs of individuals excluded from federal stimulus programs.

COVID-19 RFP Program: COMMIT

In an effort to further address the unmet medical need in COVID-19, Gilead Medical Affairs is launching the COMMIT program. The COMMIT program will support well defined individual projects of no more than $250,000 USD or equivalent sum; projects that are more than $250,000 will require approval by Gilead prior to submission.
