Elizabeth Boyd, PhD

Executive Director, Program Management & Institutes Administration

Elizabeth Boyd, PhD, serves as the administrative and programmatic leader for the University of Arizona’s Centers, Institutes, and Museums in the Office of Research & Partnerships. She has a PhD in Medical Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and has extensive experience in research administration, strategic planning, and academic collaborations.

Prior to joining the University of Arizona, Dr. Boyd served as the Director of UC BRAID, the consortium of the five University of California clinical and translational science institutes, where she leveraged her expertise to advance biomedical research collaboration across the University of California system. She has served in both faculty and administrative roles at UC San Francisco, UC Riverside, and UC Office of the President. Prior to her position with UC BRAID, she served as the Vice President for Research Administration and Faculty Affairs at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.
