Hearing Conservation Program

Hearing loss is painless, permanent, progressive, and PREVENTABLE. The University of Arizona’s Hearing Conservation Program aims to prevent occupational noise-induced hearing loss and provide service to our workforce.

RLSS supports this program by providing the following services:

    • Assessment of workplace noise and chemical exposures in research settings;
    • Occupational audiometric testing for all UA populations (research and non-research);
    • Training on use of hearing protection devices.
