- COS Pivot is a searchable database of funding opportunities that provides information about external funding opportunities from federal, non-federal, and international sponsors in all disciplines. In addition to keyword searches, researchers can create a user profile to set up customized searches with e-mail alerts about new opportunities that match your search criteria. - Grant Forward is a searchable database of funding opportunities based on the Illinois Research Information Service. The University of Arizona is registered as an institution on the system. Investigators can register on the system and complete a professional profile.
- Proposal Central is used by many foundations and societies to process proposal submissions and also provides information about funding programs and upcoming deadlines. The University of Arizona is registered as an institution on the system. Investigators register on the system and complete a professional profile.
Federal Databases
- Grants.gov centralizes grant programs across all federal grant-making agencies. It provides standardized grant information, application packages, and processes for finding and applying for federal grants. Users can search for grants. Individual researchers do not need to register with grants.gov. A list of Federal agencies that provide grants is available here.
- FedBizOpps is the U.S. Government's website for commercial vendors and government buyers. Select federal agencies also list their funding opportunities here.
- PCORI (Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute) is authorized by Congress to conduct research to provide information about the best available evidence to help patients and their health care providers make more informed decisions.
- SBIR/STTR (Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer) provides information funding opportunities for the development and commercialization of new technologies in partnership with small business. The UA also provides guidance on SBIR/STTR proposals.
