Tracking Cosmic Clutter: How the U of A is Leading Lunar Traffic Control
Space is getting crowded. With more than 100,000 satellites and payloads expected to launch in the next decade, the need to identify, track, and monitor orbital traffic has never been more urgent.
Join us for a fascinating discussion with Dr. Tomas Díaz de la Rubia, Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Dr. Vishnu Reddy, Director of the Space4 Center, as they explore how University of Arizona researchers are pioneering solutions to ensure safe and sustainable space operations.
The Space4 Center is leading efforts to monitor the increasing congestion between Earth and the moon—work that is essential to national security, lunar exploration, and the future of space sustainability.
