Mariette Marsh is the Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Affairs & Safety, with oversight for the Human Subjects Protection Program (IRB), Institutional Animal Care & Use Program (IACUC), HIPAA Privacy Program, Quality Program, Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight (ESCRO) Committee, Radiation Laboratory Safety Services and Occupational Health. Mariette has over 20 years of experience in research at UArizona and the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has extensive experience with all compliance offices and broad research administration experience. Mariette holds a master’s degree in public administration from University of Missouri-Columbia and has certifications in IRB regulations, HIPAA Privacy, and hospital research compliance. She serves as a site reviewer for the Association of Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) and as a consultant helping minority-serving institutions build research capacity.
