Groundbreaking ceremony for the first new building of the University of Arizona Tech Park

Join us for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new UA Tech Park at The Bridges, which is a 65-acre community of innovation within a larger 350-acre master-planned, mixed-use development project just north of Interstate-10, bordered by Kino Parkway to the east, 36th Street to the north and the Union Pacific Railroad line to the west.

When: Thursday, February 27, 2020. Networking at 7:30 a.m. and remarks begin at 8:00 a.m.

Where: Tucson Marketplace Blvd. and ML King Jr. Way

  • Carol Stewart, Associate Vice President for Tech Parks Arizona, University of Arizona

 

Attendees will learn more about the first building to be developed as part of the long-term plans for the technology zone within the UA Tech Park at The Bridges. The technology zone encompasses 20 acres of land within the Tech Park and is one of four different zones (technology, corporate, university and business) in this new community of innovation.

Other announcements will also be made including the unveiling of the building name and streets.
