The Flow Cytometry Core provides expertise, training/education, personnel and instrumentation, to assist users in multi-parametric flow cytometry, and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) for both basic and clinical research. The core Director can provide help with multicolor/multiparameter panel designing, design of experiments, as well as to develop and implement new applications/assays. The core staff is available to provide assistance in sample preparation, staining, data acquisition and analysis.
The University of Arizona Viral Production Core facility offers services for the generation of high-titer AAV, Adenoviral and Lentiviral particles. We provide a full cloning service for the generation of plasmids of interest, a high quality purification of viral particles and analysis of specific viral properties. Recombinant viruses are powerful tools that can be used to overexpress, silence, or edit genes.
The Comparative Pathology Core Laboratory (CPCL) provides the following expert services: Histology Services, Pathology Services, Immunohistochemistry, Whole Slide Scanning, and Consultation with a Pathologist.
The Arizona Laboratory for Emerging Contaminants is located at the University of Arizona to assist faculty, student and staff researchers working in the field of water sustainability to detect, quantify and speciate organic and inorganic micro-pollutants – including dissolved and nano-particulate components - in complex environmental matrices.
The Behavioral Measurement and Interventions Shared Resource provides support to researchers investigating human lifestyle behaviors such as diet, physical activity, anthropometrics measurement, health risks, etc.
