The Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP) has launched a new system, eIRB, designed to make submitting human research protocols easier and faster.

Topic-specific training sessions on eIRB will be held according to the below schedule.

  • 9/29, 12-1pm: Migrated Protocols
  • 10/6, 12-1pm: How to Create and Submit New Multi-Site Submissions
  • 10/20, 12-1pm: How to Create and Submit an External IRB Submission
  • 11/3, 12-1pm: Follow-on Submissions – MODS, CRs, & RNIs
  • 11/17, 12-1pm: How to Create and Submit New Single Site Submissions
  • 12/1, 12-1pm: Migrated Protocols
  • 12/15, 12-1pm: Follow-on Submissions – MODS, CRs, & RNIs 

Training Session and Recordings:

Drop-in Office Hours dedicated to help users navigate eIRB starting Monday, September 13th, will be available according to the below schedule.

  • 9/13 – 9/24: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 10-11am and 1-2pm
  • 9/27 – 10/8: Tuesdays, Thursdays: 10-11am and 1-2pm
  • 10/11 – 10/22: Wednesdays: 10-11am and 1-2pm

Office hours hosted by HSIB every other Thursday will resume Thursday, 10/28, from 10-11am.
